We bid farewell to Tonga and its humpback whales today. From a photographic standpoint, we were plagued by suboptimal conditions except for one day; however, from a wildlife encounter standpoint, the opportunity to swim with these gentle leviathans was truly unforgettable. I find it quite difficult to relay the awe and magic of these interactions in words -- I hope that the images and videos may augment my humble efforts to give some sense of our incredible experiences.
