Winds continue to pummel the islands of Tonga. The rough seas and rains have made underwater visibility some of the worst the region has seen in years. Nevertheless, we have been fortunate with another day of enjoyable visits with the whales. The tiger shark-bitten calf that we saw last week has returned to the area and was quite playful -- venturing ever further from its mother on its solo excursions.
