The Pantanal, Brazil














































Jaguars are identified by the unique spot pattern on their foreheads.  The scientists of the Brazilian Jaguar Research Center were stationed at our camp in Mato Grosso.  While exploring a remote region along the Rio Cuiaba, Richelle and I photographed an as-yet-unidentified cat (below) and were thus given the honor to name that jaguar!
